in this city of dying dreams
there lives the lonelinest man
no one talks to him
no one listens to him
no one sees him
no one knows him
one day, a fairy came before him
and asks him to help her
to renew this city
the man stared at her
and he asked her how only he can help her
she anwsers that it is his duty
to bring the rotten city back to it's original state
and he asked if the people will die
the fairy told him that they'll
be taken to a place where
they will be able to notice him
the man laughed and said
"I cannot do such a thing to these people"
but yet he agreed to help her
the fairy asked him why he
agree to help her
he told her
"because you're the first to ever noticed me"
delighted with his answer, the fairy
brought upon a bright light
"it's coming"
"..."
"are you sure you want to do this?"
he hesitated. "yes ... my choice is final"
And she smiled. "then i wish you the best of luck"
then she disappeared and left him to witness
the city that he once called home become what it was before.
Within the sounds of bark against rock are the lives of the people
who I once grew up with, who i worked with, who i'd passed by in the streets.
And soon they can hear his too.
